Halloween 2013

I had fun with my preschool kids on Halloween, we ate witches brooms, ghoulish apple mouths, and banana ghosts. We made fun Halloween art and the kids went home with Halloween candy bags. Then I got lily and Camille ready for trick or treating. I picked up christian and Olivia and we went downtown to third street to find a crazy street filled with ghosts, and goblins, and all sorts of creativity. It was a fun day.

I'm so excited for this new year coming in primary we have 9 kiddos getting baptized. So I decided to do the eight is great program. I created these really cool binders. In them it has all sorts of information for the kids. Like the faith in god program, scouts, questions about baptism. It was really a good experience for the kids. All the kids and their families came to the meeting and then afterwards we had a baptism of another little guy in primary. It was pretty awesome. I was so happy about the whole event.

Sushi date night

We decided it was time to check out the new sushi restaurant in town. The sushi was bar was really cool. I had never been to one like it before. You sat at your table and wait for the food to come by you on a conveyor belt, as it's being made fresh by sushi masters. You take what you want. It was all very yummy. I tried new things and was surprised at how delicious it was. It was also very cost effective. I love date nite with my husby. We always have so much fun trying new things.

Christmas tree hunting 2013

Black Friday is never a time for mall madness. We always go christmas tree hunting. This year we got out of bed even earlier (830am) and went to my parents house to have a delicious french toast and sausage breakfast. Afterwards we loaded up and headed out to the christmas tree farm. It's really so fun to see the kids running around with excitement and pure joy. They really understand that christmas is a magical time.

It didn't take very long for us to find our tree. Shelby had a lot of fun running around the trees.

Yea our eyes were bigger then our space. But we had fun decorating.

We purchased a small Charlie Brown tree and decorated it up, once we knew the hermana missionaries were safely home, we dropped the tree on their doorstop and doorbell ditched. It took a few knocks but they finally came out to see their pretty little tree. It was fun to surprise them. But everyone needs a christmas tree at christmas time.
