OHSU day 

 I always have to go to OHSU to see my neurologist, today was one of those days. So we took advantage of the beautiful weather and took the tram up to the upper campus.  So I could make an appointment at the women's clinic, but mainly it was just an excuse to take the tram. 
This day we could see Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Bachelor and Mt. Hood. It was so incredible.

Temple date night

Bestest date night

Oh man best story every. Pacer was taking an afternoon nap, I went down to pick up the mail. Bill, Bill, Junk, Magazine, Letter from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. 
What I ignored all the others and dove into the letter. It was a letter from the first presidency giving us the ok to be sealed for time and eternity in the temple. 
For those that are curious about what this means go here

He got his recommend and off to the temple we went. It was so amazing walking hand in hand into the temple. We looked like smitten school kids. There was alot of smiles and winks across the isle. But what an incredible feeling to be in the celestial room with the man I will be spending the rest of eternity together.

Bloom where you are planted

I have many more posts to come in reference to General Conference. I was touched by all the beautiful messages by our inspired leaders of the church. I am grateful to be a member of such a marvelous church. The love, hope and faith they bring into my heart makes me want to be a better a person.


My mother is the greatest example of the quote. She is always in her garden creating a beautiful display of Spring flowers. She understands that in order to receive the reward of beautiful flowers she must do the work. She is my best friend, (well her and my husband) she has been the best example of hard work, dedication, love & support.
 She is my hero.

Springtime is here

Springtime is the season of baby things…
I love the spring, especially in Oregon. Even on the rainy days it's soooo beautiful. I love walking around the town cause every where you go there is new life. The trees are all in blossom, daffodils scatter people's yards. The huge blooms from the Magnolia trees are just stunning. It is so much fun to stand under the trees as the blossoms just fall around you. 
I love Springtime!!

Strawberry Pancakes on the patio

I love our back patio and we have had some wonderful spring weather. So this morning I was craving some yummy pancakes. I had some strawberries cut up in the fridge that had to be used so I threw them into the batter. I topped em with fresh strawberries and whip cream with syrup on the side. 
I love having my husband here in the mornings we can enjoy our time together.

Tulips, Daffodils and Other Such Pretties… OH MY!!!!!

So my mom is totally missing out on her beautiful spring garden, since she is spending the entire month of April in New Jersey… Whatever!!!!!!!
So we get to enjoy it for her. The daffodils took over the yard and as they slowly started dying off the tulips of every color have replaced them. It's so incredible. If your in our neighborhood swing by and take a peek… and don't forget to compliment *or tease* my mother on facebook.
