Long time no see

We have done so many wonderful things this year so far.
#1
Our Arely got married in Mesa AZ. I was so lucky to be able to photograph her day. I am so proud of her for making such wonderful choices in her life. We love her to pieces.

#2
I became a member of the McMinnville Chamber of Commerce. I am loving it. It is so great to be able to network with so many great people.

#3
I closed my day care doors. I have loved taking care of these amazing little people. I love them all so much. I love watching them grow up on Facebook. Thank goodness for Facebook

#4
We went and stayed the new year with our dearest friends Wendy & Brian Coughanour in Klamath Falls.  We love them and miss them like crazy.

Lake Tahoe: Biking, swimming, & Bocci Ball

Good last full day of vacation. We went to Tahoe City for some last minute shopping, and then some biking. We had fun. It was tough to ride on our cruisers on the mountainous trails. Since we have only one speed. I was kinda sad to not be able to ride more. But we had fun. Afterwards we came home had some yummy lunch and then we hit the hot tub and went for a swim.
As we were getting the BBQ going, the rain came pouring down. After burgers and fries the sun came back out and we were down on the beach playing bocci ball.

It was like the perfect last day.
I am so grateful for my parents allowing us to tag along. We really enjoyed ourselves and feel relaxed and ready to take on the world.

Lake Tahoe: it all starts with full tank of gas

Lake Tahoe: it all starts with full tank of gas

We piled the van bottom to top with goodies for our trip to Lake Tahoe. We have been going to the condo for roughly 30 years. But you can't help but feel giddy about spending another week there. We got to break our new van in with a long road trip. We munched on yummies and listened to the kindle. We stopped half way for our picnic lunch at a church in some small town where the wind was blowing like crazy. It was such a beautiful drive. But it was an even more beautiful sight to see the Condo at the Lake.

LET THE VACATION BEGIN!
