TRAMMin' it!

OHSU day

I always have to go to OHSU to see my neurologist, today was one of those days. So we took advantage of the beautiful weather and took the tram up to the upper campus.  So I could make an appointment at the women's clinic, but mainly it was just an excuse to take the tram.
This day we could see Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Bachelor and Mt. Hood. It was so incredible.

Date day

We started out our day in bed. Slept in til almost noon. But after deciding to finally get up. We drove out to explore antique, second hand, and collectable stores. It was really fun. We found some really great stores and some fun stuff. I ended my day with a little craft, making tile coasters. They are really cool. pics to come later.

Quiet…with no technology

Ok so I cheated a little bit and used my phone for picture taking. Had to be documented though. Saturday there was a crazy wild Oregon winter day. We had spent the afternoon at the stake center prepping for an 8 year old baptism, in the branch. The wind was whipping around swinging doors almost off their hinges. The baptism had a few hiccups but turned out beautiful.
We hadn't had dinner, but had planned on having delicious chocolate and blood orange chicken tacos, with guacamole. Seriously doesn't that sound so delicious. Well we never did get to have the for dinner. When I pulled unto the street where we live & sure enough there was no power. Every where else in McMinnville had power except us. I walk in and Pacer and lit candles everywhere. It was so beautiful and romantic. Both of electronic devices were on less than 10% battery. We were pretty much forced into a no tech date night. We have no bread so sandwiches were out of the question… I sent Pacer out for 5$ pizza.
After our delicious pizza we laid down in bed and caught up on our magazine reading, and I am currently reading
History Decoded
The 10 greatest conspiracies of all time.
by Brad Meltzer

The power came back on so we decided to keep the technology off and lay back down and keep reading.

Jigsaw puzzles…who knew

Upon making the abc date list, I thought man I haven't put together a puzzle in like forever. I love puzzles. So we went to the puzzle expert…my mother. She literally has a closet full of them. She gave a giant box of like a dozen puzzles. Pacer chose the puzzle, it didn't seem like it was gonna be that hard. But nah I say, it took us a week to finish. I was crazy about completing the puzzle, every chance I had to work on it I did. Until finally YEA we finished.
Hardest thing about finishing a puzzle is starting a new one. Having to tear apart the completed one and laying out a new one. It's kinda sad.
