Christmas 2008

We had quite the exciting Christmas break. After the crazy snowy weather and 2 feet of snow in Oregon, we headed to snowy weather in Utah. We spent Christmas day with The Dalton Family. It was fun to watch little Christian open his gifts... especially the noisy cars...they were my favorite!! Then we went to Provo and spent the rest of the time playing with Maren and taking care of a sick Levi. We sat around waiting for Heidi to have her baby. Well and as a good Christensen child she waited til the very last second to grace us with her presence. She made quite an entrance into this world. We got to see her for a total of 2 minutes before rushing to catch a plane back to Oregon. Our little 9lb 10oz 22 inch miracle was born on New Years Day. Little Hazel Christensen....What a doll. Check out the pics at picassa.... they are worth the trip!!!

Thanksgiving

Well it has been awhile since I posted anything. Much has happened here in McMinnville.
First of all Thanksgiving was a blast. We had a progressive dinner, with the Pardee Clan.
We started dinner at my house with appetizers...chips and my fabulous, famous salsas, tortilla rolls, and smoked paprika deviled eggs. And of course Cremosas. Then we were off the my Parents house for salad and bread...yummmy!!! Then to the Pardee household for a game of The Great Dalmuti...where of course I killed...No one could defeat the Great Jade... Then we ate the main course...TURKEY!! After an entire day of eating we finished off the day at Uncle Jim's house for desert. Pies of kinds..and cheese cake..YUMMMY. It was a great day.

Saturday Dec. 6, was Justin Pardee and Becca's Wedding. The first time I was in attendance at a family wedding without my camera...IT was weird! Hard to not rip the camera out of the gal's hand that was taking the pics.. hahahaa . I would have too.

School is almost done for the term. I am in my finals week. Next week begins a well deserved vacation. My brain and broken foot are tired!

Thats all for now...hasta pronto
